Three very different sides of Zimbabwe.
Begin beside the Zambezi River, within easy reach of Victoria Falls, before flying into Hwange National Park for an immersive safari at Somalisa Expeditions.
The journey then continues by light aircraft to Kanga Expeditions in Mana Pools, where wildlife gathers around Kanga Pan and the safari often unfolds directly in front of camp.

From Victoria Falls to the wild heart of Mana Pools.
Day 1
Arrive in Victoria Falls
Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport and transfer by road to Palm River Hotel, set beside the Zambezi River. Settle in for a two-night stay close to Victoria Falls.
Day 2
Victoria Falls
Spend the day experiencing Victoria Falls and the surrounding area. Optional experiences can include a guided tour of the falls, a Zambezi River cruise or other locally arranged activities.
Day 3
Victoria Falls to Hwange
Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport and fly by scheduled light aircraft to Manga Airstrip. Continue by game-drive transfer into Hwange National Park and check in at Somalisa Expeditions.
Days 4–5
Somalisa Expeditions
Explore Hwange with expert local guides. Activities include morning and afternoon game drives, walking safaris for eligible guests, birdwatching and time at the dedicated photography hide and in-camp Elephant Pool.
Day 6
Hwange to Mana Pools
Travel by game-drive transfer to Manga Airstrip before flying to Dandawa Airstrip. Continue through the private concession to Kanga Expeditions in Mana Pools National Park.
Days 7–8
Kanga Expeditions
Discover the wilderness surrounding Kanga Pan on guided game drives and walking safaris. Enjoy Kanga’s celebrated armchair safari as wildlife gathers around the pan, subject to seasonal water levels.
Day 9
Depart for Harare
Transfer by game drive to Dandawa Airstrip and fly by scheduled light aircraft to Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare, where the safari concludes.

During the dry season, Kanga Pan becomes an essential water source for wildlife across the surrounding area. Elephants and other animals can gather within sight of camp, creating one of Zimbabwe’s most distinctive safari experiences.
Wildlife sightings and water levels are seasonal and cannot be guaranteed.

Before you travel.
Guests must be at least 12 years old to stay at Somalisa Expeditions and Kanga Expeditions.
Walking safaris are restricted to guests aged 16 and over and remain subject to local conditions and the guide’s assessment.
Kanga Expeditions operates from 1 April to 30 November. The journey therefore does not operate during the Emerald Season.
Palm River Hotel includes accommodation, breakfast, afternoon tea, a Victoria Falls shuttle and the initial minibar stock. Lunches, dinners and optional activities at Victoria Falls are not included unless added to your quotation.
Comprehensive travel insurance, including suitable medical and evacuation cover, is essential.
