Lapland is a world of frozen forests, Arctic wildlife, deep snow and enormous winter skies.
This journey combines active winter experiences with the culture and traditions of the far north, from reindeer and huskies to Sami hospitality and ice fishing.
Along the way you'll cross into Sweden for an icebreaker cruise, travel by snowmobile through frozen landscapes and head out in search of the Aurora Borealis when conditions allow.

7-Day Itinerary
Rovaniemi to Levi and the Arctic Circle
Day 1
Arrival in Rovaniemi
Arrive in the capital of Finnish Lapland and collect the full winter equipment needed for the adventure ahead, including insulated clothing, boots and gloves.
Day 2
Sweden & the Icebreaker
Cross into Sweden for an icebreaker cruise through Bothnian Bay. Watch the vessel break through the frozen sea and, wearing a specialist thermal suit, experience floating safely in the icy water.
Day 3
Reindeer & Korouoma Falls
Visit a reindeer farm to learn about life with these remarkable Arctic animals before taking a short sled ride. Continue through snowy forest landscapes towards the frozen Korouoma Falls.
Day 4
Arctic Wildlife, Huskies & Levi
Explore Ranua Wildlife Park and see animals adapted to the Arctic climate before visiting a husky farm for a dog-sled journey through the wilderness.
Continue north to Levi. If Aurora forecasts and weather conditions are favourable, head out after dark in search of the Northern Lights.
Day 5
Snowmobiles, Ice Fishing & Levi
Take to the frozen landscapes around Levi by snowmobile, travelling across frozen rivers and lakes and through seemingly endless snow-covered forests.
Stop at a frozen lake to discover traditional local ice-fishing techniques before heading by cable car into the mountains for panoramic views across Finland's largest ski resort.
Later, unwind with some classic Finnish winter relaxation, including spa facilities, saunas and an outdoor jacuzzi.
Day 6
Ice Karting, Snowshoes & the Ice Palace
Start with an exhilarating ice-karting experience in racing karts equipped for the extreme winter conditions.
Swap wheels for snowshoes and head out across the soft snow, experiencing a traditional way of travelling through the Arctic landscape.
Finish the day with a visit to Finland's extraordinary ice palace, rebuilt every winter from millions of kilograms of ice, before enjoying a local Sami meal and cultural experience.
Day 7
Rovaniemi & Departure
Return to Rovaniemi and visit the Arktikum museum to discover more about life above the Arctic Circle, the changing seasons and the science behind the Northern Lights.
Finish with a visit to Santa Claus Village before transferring to the airport for your journey home.
