This expedition takes you far beyond the classic tourist route, travelling by fully equipped 4WD through the Namib Desert, Skeleton Coast, Kaokoland, Etosha National Park and remote tribal regions.
Along the way you'll search for desert-adapted elephants, sail on Walvis Bay, meet Himba communities, camp beneath incredible night skies and discover one of Africa's greatest wildernesses.

15-Day Itinerary
Windhoek to Etosha
Day 1
Arrival in Windhoek
Arrive in Namibia's capital, collect the fully equipped 4WD vehicles and settle in for the first night of the expedition.
Day 2
Sossusvlei & Deadvlei
Head south into the Namib Desert to explore Deadvlei and the towering dunes of Sossusvlei, finishing the day with sunset from Dune 45.
Day 3
Namib-Naukluft to Swakopmund
Cross vast desert landscapes and the Khomas Hochland before reaching the Atlantic coast and Swakopmund.
Day 4
Walvis Bay & Sandwich Harbour
Look for flamingos along the coast before heading into the dunes around Sandwich Harbour, with time for a quadbike experience at Dune 7.
Day 5
Skeleton Coast to Khowarib
Follow the wild Skeleton Coast past Henties Bay and Cape Cross before heading inland towards Damaraland and Khowarib Gorge for a night beneath the stars.
Day 6
Kaokoland & Hoanib River
Travel deeper into Kaokoland and the Hoanib River region in search of desert-adapted elephants and other wildlife.
Day 7
Wildlife tracking in the Hoanib
Follow remote tracks through the Hoanib and Hoarusib regions, searching for signs of elephants and other desert wildlife before camping near Purros.
Day 8
Predator country & Sesfontein
Search for signs of lions and other predators before returning towards Sesfontein and continuing to the Opuwo area.
Day 9
Epupa Falls & Himba communities
Travel north towards the Angolan border to experience Epupa Falls and meet Himba communities whose traditional way of life remains closely connected to this remote landscape.
Day 10
Uukwaluudhi wildlife country
Head east through northern Namibia, stopping in wildlife-rich savannah country where antelope, giraffe and zebra roam.
Day 11
Into Etosha National Park
Enter Etosha via the King Nehale Gate and begin exploring one of Africa's most famous wildlife reserves.
Day 12
Full day in Etosha
Spend the day moving between Etosha's waterholes in search of elephants, lions, rhino, giraffe and the park's huge variety of wildlife.
Day 13
Hoba Meteorite & Waterberg
Leave Etosha and travel via Tsumeb and Grootfontein, with the chance to visit the Hoba Meteorite before continuing to Waterberg Plateau.
Day 14
Return to Windhoek
Drive back to Windhoek, return the expedition vehicles and enjoy a final night in the capital.
Day 15
Departure
Enjoy a relaxed final morning before transferring to the airport for your journey home.
