Day 1
Into the Bucegi Mountains
Arrive in Romania, collect the 4WD vehicles and head straight for Bucegi Natural Park, Bolboci Lake and Podu cu Florile Peak before continuing to Brasov.
Day 2
Bran Castle & Poiana Mărului
Explore the mountain landscapes around Diham Cottage before visiting Bran Castle and continuing through rural Transylvania to Poiana Mărului.
Day 3
Zărnești Canyon & Vidraru
Hike through Zărnești Canyon, travel through the traditional villages of Măgura and Peștera and continue through the Bran Pass towards Vidraru Dam.
Day 4
The Transfăgărășan
Drive one of Europe's most celebrated mountain roads, stopping at Bâlea Lake before continuing across the Carpathians towards Voineasa.
Day 5
The Transalpina & Saxon Villages
Continue along Romania's highest road, the spectacular Transalpina, before descending into the traditional villages of Marginimea Sibiului where rural life has changed little over generations.
Day 6
Sinca Veche & Poiana Brașov
Visit the remarkable Cave Monastery at Șinca Veche before crossing beautiful Bârsa Land and returning towards the forests surrounding Poiana Brașov.
Day 7
Brașov & Bucharest
Explore Brașov's beautifully preserved medieval old town, including the famous Black Church, before returning to Bucharest for a farewell dinner.
Day 8
Departure
Enjoy a panoramic tour of Bucharest before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
