Barcelona to the high Pyrenees
Day 1
Barcelona to the Pyrenees
Arrive in Barcelona, collect the 4WD vehicles and begin the journey north through Lleida towards the mountains.
Day 2
Canyon Hiking & Kayaking
Hike through a narrow canyon before taking to the water for a kayaking experience, then cross mountain passes towards the Aran Valley near the French border.
Day 3
Aran Valley & Freedom Trail
Explore the Aran Valley, mountain waterfalls and high meadows before following sections of the historic Freedom Trail.
Day 4
Noguera Pallaresa Rafting
Take on an exhilarating rafting experience before continuing through waterfalls, high mountain farmland and dramatic Pyrenean scenery.
Day 5
Smugglers' Road & Andorra
Follow the historic Smugglers' Road through mountain streams, glacial landscapes and high passes into Andorra, with a remote off-road section past alpine lakes and spectacular viewpoints.
Day 6
Rupit, Sau Reservoir & Montseny
Travel to the historic village of Rupit, hike to a waterfall viewpoint and continue towards the Sau Reservoir before crossing the scenic Montseny Reserve en route to the Costa Brava.
Day 7
Via Ferrata & Barcelona
Finish the adventure with a via ferrata experience on cliffs overlooking the Mediterranean before returning to Barcelona, handing back the 4WD vehicles and exploring the city centre.
Day 8
Departure
Enjoy some final free time in Barcelona before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
